Pastor Mike Abendroth

Mike's passion is preaching the Bible in a verse-by-verse fashion and training other men to do the same. He graduated from The Master’s Seminary in 1996 (M. Div.), received his doctorate in Expository Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2006 (D. Min.), and is an adjunct professor of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Mike is also the author of the book entitled Jesus Christ: The Prince of Preachers. He is overwhelmed at God's grace in his salvation and in God's choice of his amazing wife Kimberly. Mike has been the Senior Pastor at Bethlehem Bible Church (BBC) in West Boylston, MA since April 1997. Download Pastor Abendroth's Thesis Paper here. No Compromise Radio

No Compromise Radio is a ministry based at BBC. “NoCo Radio” is dedicated to the ongoing proclamation ofJesus Christ, even Him crucified (1 Cor 2:1), His exclusive and saving gospel, and His inerrant Word.

The theme verse for the show is Galatians 2:5. Paul wrote, “But we did not yield in subjection to them for even an hour, so that the truth of thegospel would remain with you.” When anyone declares that “Jesus saves,” but you must keep the commandments in order to be saved, the gospel is imperiled and truncated. God has called His church to defend the doctrine of His free and sovereign grace. We intend, by God’s enablement, to defend the gospel of God by both warning against error and teaching the truth. There should be no safe haven for those who add to, or subtract from, the gospel of the resurrected Christ.

Our statement of faith can be found here, but we would be in hearty (and general) agreement with the great Reformed confessions, such as the London Baptist Confession of 1689 and the Westminster Confession.

If you like smooth, watered-down gruel “Bible teaching,”—and no controversy—this isn’t the show for you. Purposefully, the show will be first biblicaland then “edgy” (never to be reversed in order). Babies need lullabies, but the church at large needs a divine trumpet to summon the troops for thehonor and glory of her King.
